Cottontail vs Hare

What the running characeristics differences between the cottontail and the hare????? More importantly----Is their a difference in the Hare and the Snowshoe Hare??????????Would like to go to Mich. and run something....Tell me all about what to expect.........Russ

straighter,faster, bigger circle...way bigger. most hounds will look better running hare.

Make sure you bring straight, woods wise dogs! The white ghost will take your hounds out of hearing.

I will give you a hint on killing hare. If you see the hare, but cant get a shot, go to where you saw him, chances are you will see him there again. If your going to upper Michigan, expect dense pine growth, you may have to get on your knees to get a shot. Good luck, and have fun.
