What's the going rate...

Post by Adam M. O'Donnell »

What's the going rate to hire a "good" beagler to campain a young dog in ARHA Little Pack? I'm interested in farming a male out to someone who can be trusted. Just wondering if there are guys who make themselves available for guys like myself who can't get to the trials due to work?

Noone else has answered so I thought I would take a stab.I have never heard of a going rate for this sort of thing in ARHA.However ,in AKC, 250.00 a month seems to be a common price.I would try and find someone close to you that is an active trialer. You might find someone who is willing to condition and campaign your dog for much less than the 250.00.Good luck with your hound

Jack Silvernale in New York does it for $300 per month this year. He went up $50 per month because of gas prices. It includes 4 trials and feed.
I don't know shizz about dogs.
