That is interesting that you were offered a deal. Who offered? That also makes me think that for some reason the person behind that mess was just out to get Dale Barnes. Wonder wether it was to get him out of the HOY race or just jealousy that fueled that? I also understand your inner fight you might want to try and let go and just never put your trust in those people again. I tend to trust people until they prove to me I should not and then sorry about their luck if they need something. We will have to get together and go hunting later this year. Maybe down by Minihaha. cya later, Paul

Hey Paul! How ya doing? Didnt mean to ignore your post here. Finally got a rain day from work. I kind of forgot about this. Here is a copy and paste from a letter Mace posted on the ARHA Q&A that was copy and pasted to this site before they removed it from ARHA site. This is written after the meeting in which Dale and I was banned.

"The allegations made by Dale and Randy back in February 2004 caused an immediate split in the membership of the Central Indiana Beagle Club. Because of that split and because of the height of tensions in the club, Del Morgan and I, the Chairman of the Watchdog Committee and Matt Glomski, President of the CIBC, agreed that all operations at CIBC should be cancelled for the remainder of 2004 in order to allow a “cooling off” period. During that period of time I attended field trials every weekend with Dale Barnes. I attempted to reestablish a dialog with him and even had dinner with him following a field trial in Pennsylvania. During that period of time I reestablished contact with Randy Beavers by email and expressed a desire to him that we should meet and have dinner one evening. In spite of those gestures of good faith the rumors of cheating continued."

Maybe I should have been a weasel, like others were....and went to dinner, lol........on second thoughts, NO WAY!

Randy, Ole Mace sure put the spin on that didn't he? He makes it sound like it was just me and him at that dinner. Richard Noah traveled with me to that hunt and we had dinner with John Gerdes, Dave Frazier and Mace. we didn't talk about anything concerning CIBC. I offered more than once to meet with him and our wives at a location of his choosing. Needless to say that meeting never happened. I guess he wasn't man enough to meet with me one on one!

Yeah Dale. I was reading that post from back then..........I had to laugh at how he spun it. I remember you telling me about that dinner in Pa. I remember your many attempts at trying to meet with him to settle your differences. Oh well.......if you cant beat em just ban em, LMAO!!!

I don't know much about all this except what I've read here as I got my dose of competition hunting coon hounds. I will say this much Randy, those who did not or would not speak up to tell the TRUTH and sat idle while you, their susposed friend, were being chastized wouldn't be fit to be called a friend of mine. It would infuriate me more to know that they were considered my friends but didn't have the nods to stand up for what was and is right. I wouldn't bat an eye about also telling the truth about them as well, as a witnessing a crime and not reporting it makes them accessories to that very crime!
