WELL, HERE IT IS THE SATURDAY NIGHT OF THE WORLD HUNT AND HAMMER DOWN IS BACK AT HOME! I WANT TO THANK WILDCAT FOR HIS COMPLIMENTS ABOUT BUCKSHOT (THAT WAS A VERY GOOD CAST AND YOUR DOG DONE VERY WELL)! BUCKSHOT TIED TODAY FOR FIRST IN THE SECOND ROUND (FOUR CHECKS, STRIKE, AND MINUS) OF THE OPENS, BUT WAS PLACED SECOND, BECAUSE HE HAD DRAWED THAT MINUS AT THE VERY BEGINING (WINNING DOG HAD FOUR CHECKS), BUT THEN WE HAD ABOUT FIFTY SOME MINUTES OF RUNNING IN THE RAIN! I DON'T KNOW THE DOG OR IT'S OWNER THAT WON, BUT IT WAS NICE DOG! ALSO WOULD LIKE TO SAY WHAT A GREAT JOB THE JUDGES DID, I KNOW ONE WAS EARL MEADE, BUT NOT SURE WHAT THE OTHER BOYS NAME WAS (WON EADES AWARD I THINK), BUT HE STAYED RIGHT ON THE DOGS AND THEY WERE POUNDING FOR MOST OF THE CAST AND RABBITS WERE GOING EVERYWHERE! WHILE I GOT WET MORE THAN ONCE AT THIS TRIAL, I HAD A GREAT TIME SEEING EVERYONE AND WANT THANK THOSE THAT HELPED ME HANDLE MY DOGS AND MUSCLES I'M STILL LOOKING FOR YOU! WHILE THEY WERE HAVING A HARD TIME AT TIMES GETTING JUDGES, I THINK THEY DONE A GOOD JOB OF ADDING MONEY FOR THEJUDGES AND MOVING THE HUNT ALONG AND I DIDN'T HEAR A LOT OF OR MUCH .

I KNOW EARL BRUNER HAD A COUPLE OF CHAMPIONS MAKE IT THROUGH THE FIRST ROUND AND BLAIR GOT BOGGEY THROUGH. I GOT BEAT BY SAM WELLS AND HIS BUMPER DOG IN THE CHAMPIONS (VERY NICE DOG).

CAROL PETER'S DIXIE DOG WON HER FIRST ROUND CAST IN THE GRANDS AND HIS BUCK DOG GOT SECOND IN HIS CAST I THINK TO A DOG OWNED BY THE MCQUIRE'S.

Sorry Hammer Down and congrats to the rest of ya'll. Go Blair and Earl and the rest of ya'll Ky boys! You'd think that Jarred Mcalister would know how to judge by now but guess he really does. Cause I've seen him do some good work but have seen him judge and wondered what in the heck is he still doing judging. Sure would like to see something done about a few judges like him. Does anybody know how Lynn Perkins done or the rest of them boys from the Eastern part of the state. Good Luck to you guys that are still in it.

Frank Fulks made it through 2 rounds with Hammer. (champion). Congrats to all you guys that has moved dogs through. I made it up for the runnoff, but had to come back home because of work. First world hunt ive missed in 3 years. IT sucks. .

I just got home tonight. We had the best and fasted, dog in the cast, but the judges werent able to keep up with him, so they judeged the dogs they could see. These judges were the worst i have ever seen, They werent even with the dogs half of the time anyway, so they dog that won, was his gf's fathers so go figure. But Blue Bud put on a show for the rest of us who saw, and knew what he was doing. I also, went out today just to observe judging with the grands, and I would like to congradulate, Brad and Fred for going to the semi finals. After running with Fred, I felt like i need the oxygen, that everyone talks about Fred needing. And also Eddie Smith for getting Las Vagas through to the next round also, yestereday. It was something how Vagas(Son Of Bevo) and Bevo(Father of Vagas) both got drawed out in the same cast. And also congrats to everyone else. And to all the judges thanks, some of you did deserve the money you earned, When i left it was at 60 per cast, but i would say it will go up some more.

I had some of the best judges I have ever seen,and two of the absolute worst.It is a shame when a man puts that kind of time and money into going to the big dance and has a dog that could possibly win the hunt,and have it all destroyed by some idiot that wouldn't know a rabbit dog if it bit him on hie scrawny butt.Boys,I don't mind getting beat by a better dog,but it burns me up getting beat by a stupid judge.Maybe rooster should try gouing out with some real judges while he's up there and maybe he'll learn a thing or two.Thanks for screwing an old dog out of his last oppurtunity.

i was looking for your dog to go all the way
in our cast, i hated to see the dogs heading toward those willows that they couldnt run in
because your dog would swing around the willows about every time and blow out with a check
really nice dog i really liked him
and him and luck had similar mouths too
it was hard for me too tell what dog was doing what sometimes
but we had some good judges in that cast
and they brung back the winner

Earl Bruners got 2 champions in the final 10 I think its Johnny and Amanda gooooo Earl!!!!!!

My champ got beat by Mr Bruner's Amanda dog. I had the best judge I have ever had in Tony Upton. I dont know how the guy can run with dogs like he does, never missed a beat in pounding running. Anyway, my male was down 60, 60 , to nothing after first rabbit and managed to come back and make it a mathc at 135 to 100 and take second. Not bad for a 20 month old dog in my opinion. First time I have met Mr. Bruner but this man was a very nice gentlemen, talked to a newcomer like me like he new me forever. Thanks for that Mr. Bruner. Hope you take the whole thing, that way I know I got beat by the best. Also, thanks to Dumbass Mccallister for ruining my buddies first world hunt by scoring every dog but his while his dog dominated the cast. Never heard somebody say that a dog was too good for the World Hunt, but this is what was told word for word to this man by the MOH and this dumbass judge. He said the dog didnt make checks, all while it was 25 yards ahead of the pack, and dumbass was giving checks to the other dogs behind it. Unbelievable. Oh well, guess I sound like somebody else on here now, but this so called judge is unbeleivable. Now the judges for my dogs werew awesome, couldnt ask for anything more. My dogs just got beat. Had fun at my first world hunt ever, thanks everybody. And good luck to the finals.
