Wanting information on Jessamine County Field Trial in KY

Post by petebeagle »

Never trialed before - looking for information on 15" female class and what time one should show up? How can I have my female measured? Have only measured her with a yard stick. She measures 13 1/4".

If she is only 13 1/4", I would run her in the 13 inch class on Friday. You won't have to measure her at all unless she makes the winners pack and most dogs will measure smaller after they have ran than before. Rarely does a 13 1/4 " dog have enough speed to keep up with 15" females in the Mid-West. Try to be there around 7:15 a.m. This should give you plenty of time to enter your dog (AKC papers needed), get her number painted on her side, eat breakfast, etc. before closing and roll call at 8:00 a.m. sharp. Good Luck!
