has anybody ever been to the speed and drive trial in clinton and i know they put all the dogs in at once but aint there also have like 3 dogs in at once somthing like that any info would be helpful

I went to there hunt one time . They did not put all of dog in at once , they put 22 dog for a hour and half did the score for that pack then run 22 more for a hour and half done there score and took the top 10 dog out of each pack and ran they for an hour . So if you are like me and run in the fisrt hunt your dog mit stay in the dog box for three to three an half hours, but the second group are out of the running for about 30 to 45 minute . They did not have time to lay down.

but dont they have like atriple pack or somthing out there im not sure what it is but i heard somthing about where 3 dogs are togheter

Yes they have a triple pack . When I was there some of the people said that they have 15 min to jump the rabbit , 15 min to run the rabbit and you have 15 min to catch the dogs . That what they were telling me . I don't know about that triple pack hunt , I did watch it for a little while I was kill time for the last run on the speed & drive .The guys go with dog to get the game up and on the move and after they jump they would run to get ahead of them to stop on the next crossing I think, the only people in the pen were the judge and the owner . The triple maybe run a different way now this was last March when I was there . I've only been to there hunt one time and I will not be going back there . Did not like the way thinks were set up there.

what pen was the triple pack in the big pen

No the triple pack was run in a 7 acre pen . The 30+ acre pen is for the speed & drive hunt , but like I said this was last year when I was there so I don't know how it is run now . I want to say that there is one or two more pen there also . They may be running the triple pack in the big pen. The 7 acre pen had trucks load of sweet potato's in it when I was there . That what all of the guys were turning out by.I have looked for the number of the guy that put the hunt on, but I can not find it . If I find the mans name and number I will let you know .

like when you put the dog in the triple pack does your dog compette against the other two dogs or what and do the yhave the triple thing at pink hills trial

I don't know if they have that stye of hunt at Pink Hill . When the people at Clinton run the triple pack they were running three of there own dog, like it was there own little hunt . And there time was up, the next person would do the same thing.Your not running againt nobody else, it your own three dog at a time running. After all the people in the hunt had ran they did the score.I've read about alot of different stye of frield trailing but I have never seen a trail that you had so short amount of time to run the game. So if your going there you have to take three of your own dogs to run in the hunt.
