question
I stay with the dog on the clock. If I feel like he has produced a rabbit then he gets plus 10, if I feel like he is just babbling and has failed to produce then he gets a -10 and goes to the truck. I will not say a dog has produced a track just because another dog harks into him because that 2nd dog could be just me tooing and babbling like the first one.

if cast time expired and dogs were ordered handled by the judge, then their should be no scoring, plus or minus, as Dog A was not given his/her four minutes to produce. Dog "C" gets nothing as Dog "A" was on the clock when Dog "C" struck. That is the way I would score, if I interpreted your description of activities correctly.

question
Big Mike, I don't think the time ran out in the cast, just the 3 minutes on the dog that was on the clock as this is a Little Pack scenario.

As a judge, you have to stay with the dog that you have on the clock until the 3 minutes elapse, or until a rabbit is produced. If a rabbit is produced you would have to give the dog on the clock a plus 10 points, no matter which dog in the cast produces the rabbit. If the rabbit that dog c jumped while the other dog was on the clock was in the area that the dog first struck the rabbit, then it would be a jump for dog c and a plus strike for the dog on the clock. As a judge, you have to decide if the rabbit dog c jumped is THE rabbit that the dog on the clock is running or is A rabbit that is not in the equation. If the judge feels that this is A rabbit and not THE rabbit in the original strike, then do as Big Dog said. My opinion

MAYBE I AM NOT UNDERSTANDING THIS ,,,, I YOUR DOG IS ON THE CLOCK HE HAS 3 MIN TO PLUS OR MINUS PECKING OR NOT........ NOW IF ANOTHER DOG JUMPS A RABBIT------ FIRST DOG IS STILL ON CLOCK ,,,,,,,,, GOOD OR BAD HE HAS TO BE SCORED ,,,,MY THOUGHT IS THIS ........... THE DOG ON THE CLOCK HAS 2 MINUS ALREADY I OWN HIM (PLAY WITH ME ) YOUR DOG JUMPS MR BUNNY ,,,,, AND HE IS WITHIN A REASONABLE DISTANCE ..... YOU MUST GIVE ME THE +10 AND GIVE THE OTHER THE JUMP AND JUDGE FROM THERE NOW IF YOU START JUDGING THE DOGS FROM THAT JUMP AND MY DOG DOES NOT PULL TO YOURS THATS SCORING MOUTHY OR NOT YOU GOTTA GET HIM IN THE PACK .....SO I AM GOING TO STICK TO MY ORGINAL POST +10 FOR MY DOG ....... I HATE A MOUTHY DOG ALMOST AS MUCH AS ANYONE BUT THEY STILL GOT AS MUCH RIGHT AS ANOTHER TO BE THERE.... SOME MAY CALL THEM COLD TRAILING I CALL IT MOUTHY BUT UNFORTUNALY
DOG B SAVED IT.... I HAVE SEEN IT SEVERAL TIMES NOTICE DOG B WAS A REASONABLE DISTANCE IN MY MIND DOG A PROBALY DID START IT

The way i read this is dog A on clock didn't go to dog C and continue pecking at the scent it was first on.If he stays at this first track he was on and the judge feels no rabbit produced from dog A -10,rabbit that dog c jumped did not become THE rabbit.Dog A is picked up for 3 minuses.
Just the way im reading into the story,Dog A (dog on clock) did not ever recognize dog C's rabbit as it being THE rabbit he was tracking or first had struck in on.says "he just kept pecking at his track"
Hey jimbo i've also seen this scored your way also but did mentally disagree with the judge

UR RIGHT LYNN I MAY BE READING OR UNDERSTANDING IT WRONG , NOW IF DOG A PECKS ON TO THE RIGHT AND DOG B GOES LEFT HAMMERING OUT I AM STILL COMMITTED TO DOG A THIS FAULTY MOUTHY HOUND JUST GOT STRIKE 3 BUT IF DOG A WORKS A LINE TO RH AND DOG B JUMPS RABBIT AND FIRES ON IT I WILL GIVE DOG A +10
U KNOW AS WELL AS ME SOMETHING HAS GOT TO START RACE MOUTHY OR NOT RIGHT OR WRONG .......... YOU ARE SAME BOAT AS ME WE DONT OWN A LINE OF MOUTHY DOGS AS A GENERAL RULE LOL I THINK THATS WHY TO CONFUSING TO JUDGE BUT THEY WILL GENERALLY CUT THERE OWN THROAT.. BUT THERE IS MOUTHY AND THERE IS BIG NOSED DOGS COMPLETLY DIFFERENT STORY C-YA
