Any hunter / handler / hound owner caught in the act of compaining, bellyaching, gossiping etc...... will be laughed at repeatedly by the cast. If behaviour continues the guilty person will be asked to run in a more professional registry.

Any hunter complaining about another registry having two sets of rules will be banned for life.

Totaling Points:
At the end of the hunts all points will be totaled, then multiplyed by 0. In the slight chance there is a tie, everyone will go home happy!

Hounds that are owned and hunted by one hunter for a period of two years or more will be given champion status, as they must be good enough to make the owner happy.

If you'd like information about joining DKC please let me know. I'd like to see lots of hunts being put on under this format.

ringtail, if you're serious about running in this format you need to be familiar with the rules..... please look under the original post, I believe your question can be answered under the "warnings" section of the rules.

c'mon now, lets all take this serious!

How many points for leaving your coat on the ground overnight inorder to find your dog/s????
Do they get extra points for 'interstate' chacing of deer????

blunder, that situation would depend upon a cast vote. It would fall under the A.G.R.......anything goes rule.......

As far as the coat goes, if you get your dog back.... 10,000 points, it always feels good to get your dog back.

As far as running deer, you can get points for it (see rule 5.) however points will only be plused if the handler made a statement like , "my hound has or will never run a deer", or, "it's been a long time since I've seen a deer chase", within' 30 minutes before the actual deer run happens.
