2005 AKC Large Pack Nationals Results

Here is a quickie report from the AKC Large Pack Nationals hosted by Sandy Creek Beagle Club in Sandy Creek, NY. I want to thank the very hospitable and friendly people of Sandy Creek for a fabulous weekend. They are a great bunch of beaglers.

It was good to finally meet some folks face-to-face; Steve Corey (at last, at last) Vic Cronin (had me in tears laughing most of the time), the Rob Kanes II and III, Vic Costanza, Paul Kormony, the Dowlearns, and omg the beautiful Annabelle Yaunke (in her 80’s and ran circles around me), and Bert, and their girls, way too many people to mention right here, but these are some fun beaglers and beautiful country. It was also good to meet up with old friends; Coady MacDonald, Art Beamer, Rick G., Tom Cheney, Bill Chase, Ralph DeWitt, and many more. Special Thanks to Dan P. Kane for being my chauffer, guide, escort, and a really great friend. Congrats to all the Hall of Fame inductees, and kudos to Bob and Pearl Baker for starting this prestigious Award.
