they are moving this club from Oqawka (sp?) IL to Lacon. larry kurtenbach is the president and i dont want to speak for eric but from what i understood, he will be involved as its in his "backyard".
you are right, i never trial much but with this club being 25 miles away, maybe its time i hit a few trials. plus larry (and eric) is a good friend and i told him id help him out if i could.

I didn`t know Larry was involved in Little Pack anymore. Thats along way from home, but I might try to get up there to one in the fall. We can`t hold any trials ourselves during Oct-Dec.15th. Just about all of our grounds people bowhunt all around them. Including myself. Priorities.
I`m going to be making an interesting cross here in the next month sometime. I`m breeding one of my faster females to a Bramlett Bear bred dog. I`m looking for a little more nose. This male is 10 years old and a proven producer. He`s being bred right now to only UGBF-SPO bitches. But in every little he throughs a pup or two that blast out of a check like our Little Pack dogs and have great speed. He`s never been crossed on a true fast bitch so we are going to try. He is a Black and Tan and stands just 13 1/4 inches. He`s long coupled though and still at 10 years can flat stroke a rabbit. I`m looking forward to starting this liter and will let you know how they run. How far back is bear on your older dogs? I didn`t realize the bear dog was that old. This dog is a grandpup and is 10, so bear must have been born in atleast the 80`s. Let me know. I`m always looking for info on breeding. I`m sure you know.
Thanks, Kevin Hall

larry is still into LP and now he has a male he wants to trial hard. this new club location wont be bothered by deerhunters. thats about all i know about it so far... they just decided to do this. he's gonna let me know about meetings and other dates as the club decides.
as for bramletts bear... he was inducted into the arha LP HOF in approx '96 so he would of been born in the '83 - '85 era roughly. if your wanting more nose, you picked a good line to go with. we ran yesterday (2-18) and it was -20 windchill (-4 reg) when we turned loose and had some great runs. let me know more about your cross as i might be interested in one or know a couple guys who are if you have any for sale.
