Kentucky State Hunt...when and where?
Much to my dismay I was given the old sorry, to bad, can't go, by the boss when it came to going to the Redneck 1st Annual. I can however get time off in April with the exception of Friday the 28th (I think thats right?) due to a school concert I need to attend. When and where is this State hunt in Kentucky and what format is it...AKC..ARHA..UKC? Liberty comes to mind but not sure and if it is I plan to check out some housing while I am there. I figure I will take about a week of to check things out if all goes well. If this fals apart on me I will still hit the road and run hounds someplace as I and they are due for a road trip and a chance to meet some new folks, hopefully bump into those from the past and chase some new bunnies.
Thanks in advance for the input,
NYH

Lynn,
Thanks for the info, now I need to call some realtors.
Sally,
Wish I could make it that soon but I must admit AKC has not been my format and I hope this State hunt is not AKC. My hounds have been either to conservative for judges when run on large pack hare trials or too fast for SPO, I've been told both.

Chris,
Thanks for the input and hospitality. I am trying to fit the hunt in between a class I need to teach to a group of new employees that takes a week and I just found out needs to be squeezed into the third or fourth week of April and also my son's singing recital at college on the 28th. I need to put a calander in front of me tomorrow to figure this out. I have been wanting to come down there so bad I can taste it. The realtor you mention happens to be the one I look at on he web alsmost everyday. I have been looking at property in Casey Creek and Liberty for some time now. I figure even if I could get just a camp type place with enough land to keep my hounds without wizzing people off when I stay there, cheap enough, I would get it and keep it for vacations to come run until the day I can move down. I'll let you know how I make out. Again thanks.
