guys we are trying to get a club going in garrison ky. it will be a little pack format club just wandering who would be interested in running here.
we have lots of running grounds with plenty of rabbits most of witch is with in 5-10 minutes of were the clubhouse would be.
WE ARE PLANING TWO HOST TO FUN HUNTS IN SEPTEMBER TO GET THE CLUB KICK STARTED

ANY SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED

I will be there when possible.

Make sure you have some good member.Let them know up frount what there getting into.And when you do a lisn trial let everybody know that this is not a perfit place if they think they come to a perfit place they came to the wrong place.WE going to do our best to judge these dog.If you want to fus about something see me or master of hounds not the judge.If a person fus and fus at a judge then next time he not going to judge.Then next thing you will notice you want have nobody to judge.You can have all the member you want but you can not have a trial unless you got someone to judge it.A judge is the most imported thing in a club.I want to thank ever judge out there.

WE WOULD COME

1 thing we are going to do is keep out the bad eggs as judges. we want this club to be a succcess. and also a place for people to have fun and bring thier kids.

another thing we are going to do is try to schedule around carlise and ironton hunts because those to clubs are within a hour of our club. is so it would make it beagler friendly and hope fully produce some good turnouts

Starting a club is hard. Ask other local clubs for ideas and support. Our first few hunt the TBBC gave us trophies (to help us with expenses). Also free lunch seems to go over good. We take turns cooking at the hunts and it seems to work. We have not been able to pay judges in the past but now we are going to start. Good, honest members, lots of rabbits, and a great atmosphere is crucial. Best of luck. Are you going to have Sunday hunts (following Ironton or Carlise). We get a few extra people when we schedule the same weekend as another club. People are more likely to travel for 2 hunts close by instead of 1.
