This was Meigs County Oh. held at Pleasant Valley Beagle Club. They will be holding a AKC NATIONAL GUNDOG BRACE TRIAL there on Oct. 2nd. and 3rd.
It should be a really nice club to hold this event.
No disrespect at all, but is that considered medium speed by most?? I have seen SPO dogs here is WV and they
are a good little bit quicker than that. I guess my hounds would be much more upper medium maybe even fast at times.
They would have had a couple short overuns but that rabbit would have had his ears pinned back gettin' in pretty short
order. Very nice looking dogs and great line control on those hounds. Thanks
nice loking dogs n videos got a question if i have a dog say lil faster like maybe 15 or 20 yards ahead of the other dog but still on the line will they pick my dog up
I will upload another run to show you that the dogs run different speeds. It is all about doing it according to the rules not speed. Dogs have to run according to the conditions. This was a run from the big females the day before. Also this was the winner of the big females and new FC.
Man that is different from our trials. We try to see the hare cross the trail and then it is like a nascar race across the trail! I could never keep up with our hounds, my slowest beagle is what I call medium speed and she is about 5 times that speed. Those guys would probly call my beages culls mine cant hold a line that good! Cool video though and neat to see different aspects and perspectives of beagling.
The second video tells a better story for me. Nice dogs. I consider that medium some may not. That chasing the dogs
would keep you in some good shape! Nice video!
