bub, i run in little pack everyone has there own opinon on what they want in a dog but i like a med. speed not to fast but not slow like the old brace dogs, an i like for mine to have quite a bit of bark to, most people dont like it but i like for my dogs to open up just a hair faster in the check area. so basically they do just a touch of cold trailin. wich i have noticed that cold trailin tears alot of these rabbit hunters all to peices, im an old coon hunter cold trailin dont really bother me as long as they produce the rabbit. i guess ive picked that up from coon huntin i dont know, i would just go out to a couple of diffrent hunts see what the diffrent hunts are bout pick out wich ones hunt like youre dogs an put them in it

Dan, I run in little pack. You run in 5 dog casts for 1 hour. You can run any size beagle 15 inches an under, male or femal. A typical lp dog is a faster, swinging dog but a slower more conservative dog also does good. The little pack Spring national hunt is febuary 27th an 28th in dunbar pa which i believe is fairly close to you. You should come out and spectate and see if you like this style of dog. There will be a lot of dogs there to watch. Hope to see you there :D
