Once points are awarded they remain with the hound towards the FC designationsanfordssj wrote:What are the scenario's that happen with his 13" pts and placements, etc...Steve
I Guess I misquoted as far as the Disqualification Part Goes this in the rules Regarding Shows just ASSUMED it was in All standards........GlaciarRidge wrote:I have never heard of such a AKC rule while only measuring at licenced trials. If you are have your dog official measured this is a possiblity. I believe the only AKC official measuring system left is the SPO two out of three method. This requiers requesting the proper forms from AKC and then attending 3 SPO trails within a years time and having your dog measured durning the premeasuring time of one of the classes. If your dog was then to measure over 13" but under 15" two of the three times it would then be required to run in the 15" class in all future events. If it was to measure over 15" two of the three times it would be disqualified from future events. If I have missed a rule or a new rule I am not aware of has been made some one please let me know. Also please profide info on where this rule can be found.
Good luck in the sport,

The only Time measuring out is a Problem is if they measure out 3 times in the 15" class or OVER 15" they are disqualified from further competition..
