Just want to give a shout out to John Sexton from Grayson, KY. Two of this year's ARHA World Hunt winners, Zoom and Wes have at least one cross of John's dogs. That makes 7 World Hunt winners in the last 10 years that go back to some of John's dogs. What really makes this amazing is there have only been a few entered each year, but dogs out of his breeding have won or placed every year for at least the last 12 years. This includes at least one dog that was first or second for the last 4 years.

John's contribution to our dogs at Logan Elm Beagles means everything. His dogs can be found all through the pedigrees in our dogs. More and more though, you are seeing successful dogs that have a Sexton cross in the second, third, and fourth generation all over.

Although John doesn't go to many hunts/trials any more, and never bred many dogs, he has made an amazing contribution to Little Pack. This is definitely a success story for the little guy with just a few dogs that just likes to go run.

And to top it all off one of the nicest guys you could ever meet at a trial.

The thing about it is, it makes John just as happy to see someone else win with his dogs as it would if he won himself. And I would challenge anyone to find a better guy in the beagling world than John Sexton. I consider it a privledge to have gotten to know him.
