SSBC-Spring Nationals-Big Thanks Great Hunt

Sooner State Beagle Club as always put on a great hunt lots of rabbits, plenty of running sites (never went to the same site twice) and I know that they have more than the 33+ they had mapped out. Karen did a great job in the kitchen keeping the home cooking coming. Had a wonderful time seeing and visiting with old friends and making new ones. Jeff, Lanny, Tony & Kathy (SSBC officers) worked hard to make Spring Nationals a great success and I would have to say they sure did that. I look forward to seeing many more big hunts out that way.

If you did not make it to this clubs hunt, you should make every effort possible to attend their next hunt you sure will not be dissappointed.

Guys the Sooner State Club has some of the best running you will have at a trial. They had rabbits running over rabbits every round. To me that is a plus to know you are going to be in good running when attending a trial. I would highly recommend making out to one of this clubs hunts not just because we done well in the trial but is was a good hunt all around. Good people, good running, good eating which is a must for average size guys like me. It is a drive but well worth the trip.

Also had a blast watching all the kids that was at this hunt. The cow pile throwing between the two little guys in one of my cast was priceless.

lanny moore, you did a great job putting on your first big five hunt, i haven't been to one that was any better and the rabbits they were everywhere, surprizingly not as many splits as you would think. i did have the opportunity to watch some real good hound work and some 100 mile an hour running. chad cordell judged a cast of champs that gutted him. i'm not sure i've had the pleasure of seeing hounds fly like that before, it couldn't of happen to a better judge. Gary Hall had a very nice red dog out there that might have won the hunt if he would of had more experience. i'm talking about Gary not the hound. i never had the plearsure of running with the CGS group but nice job guys. jeff and karen always work hard to make everyone feel welcomed and at home. the opening ceremony was fantastic. i think every clud should say the pledge allegiance to the flag at every hunt all rabbit hunters are true americans. Over all i had a fantastic time at the hunt and hope to see future big hunts in this area. you all know we couldn't have done this without our judges, i would like to thank all of them, but there were two that never had to be ask to judge and did an outstanding job and made me proud for them. justin poole and bruce phillips a couple of local boys guys my hats off to you and you guys can judge my hounds anytime.

thank's Sooner States Beagle Club for putting on such a good big five hunt on, lanny & jeff did a outstanding job making everything go smooth. we had dogs out in
six cast & had running in every cast & didn't go to same place twice- food & fellowship was great, met some new people. judging was good i thought & didn't hear of any problems- hope you guy's get a big hunt next year
