I would like to see them hold off on the early season on the state properties,if just for a couple of years. Look at the kill counts from Minne ha ha property from 1995 compared to 2003 I fed and salted the rabbits at hilderbrand for the years I ran there. At least the DNR is listening to small game hunters; which is a start.
