Whelping female with Diahrea . Please help !!!

I have a female who's with 2 week old pups but for the last
couple days she's had diahrea . Everythings fine otherwise .
Any help is appreciated .

Many times females will have loose stools after welping, but generally not the runny uglies. I would suspect she might have gotten coccidia I would treat her with Albon. Also she might be just plain overeating and it is running through her too. Take her temp and make sure she isn't running a temp. normal is 102. Give her some Kaopectate about 2 tablespoons this will help her with the stomach cramps and slow down the runny uglies as well. Keep an eye on the pups too, if they get the runny uglies it wouldn't take long for them to die. If they get it would give them 2 cc of the kaopectate. Blend up some pup chow in the blender (dry) then add warm water make it like soup and get them started licking that so they can get some water into their system to help keep hydrated. Thanks for your help TC & Will . I have given her some Albon and dad snuck in
some Pepto Bismol last night . Dad said she seemed to be doing better now .
She has been wormed along with the puppies . The stool wasn't dangerously
loose and diarhea may have been a lil overstated but I like to take care of any
problems as soon as they occur . I keep the female and the pups off ground
with a rubber coated run and a 3X3 whelping pen but yes she still has a lot to
deal with by cleaning up after all those puppies .

Guys from what I have learned this female was somewhat lactocentolerate/allergic (spelling ) at least towards the particular brand of milk helper she was being given at that time . When dad gave her that milk helper the next time she threw up . We took her off the milk helper and she went back to narmal . Thanks to all the people on this board who is always so willing to help .
