I thought getting Bush out of the White House and putting Obama in was going to fix all of this.....has something changed? Oh, wait.....something has changed....it's gotten worse....how did that happen?

Normal logical people know that Obama has done more damage and we still have more coming from his policies and decisions. Those who were too short sighted to see what Obama was bringing are not going to be the source of ANY solution. They lack the common sense needed to see beyond their next government check.

Those short sighted people thought they wanted to run the country and now that they have crash and burned they want the people they were attacking to come and give them the answers. You aren't going to like the answer. Get adults back in charge. You've had your fun with daddy's car and now that the damage is done, dad will fix it but you ain't gonna be driving for awhile. One other thing, go ahead and take your foot off the spending gas, you're just doing more damage.

Perfect post...may I add too that those NOW asking for answers like Rufus STILL want those answers to come from GOVERNMENT. Government is not the solution, its the problem. Until people like him see that axiom of truth they are incapable of being part of ANY solution. They elected an idiot community organizer and NOW they are shocked that he cannot do anything but spend money? What did they think they were getting with Obambi, an experienced statesman? A seasoned diplomat? Hell, he has BOWED to TWO foreign leaders so far and called it PROTOCOL. He has NO idea on what to do with the war in Afghanistan, he has NO idea on how to fix our economy, he has NO idea on how to proceed with the Israeli-Palestinian conflicts, basically he has NO idea on how to run our country. You want to see our economy jumpstart and jobs return, REMOVE the cancer that is Liberalism from our highest offices and return power to people....thats what HAS to happen BEFORE any jobs will come back.

Your statement earlier about yougster not wanting to work is a product of goverment assitance just like welfare. You said the mines can not hire because of the drug problems, maybe the punishment should be harsher instead of assitance.

#3 Give companies that stay in America and use american made a break!

#6 buy local support your community, support the local businesses, buy American Made where at all is possible.
#7 Don't believe in all the hand out garbage that is produced out of Washington, cash for clunkers, guess what you traded in a car that was paid off for payments now that was a good move to get you out of debt wasn't it?
#8 Don't refinance unless the $5,000 closing costs will pay off over a short period of time the lower interest rate isn't going to do you much good if you are lowering your rate 1 or 1.5% just make larger payments, most people that refinance are through the interest hump and only put them selves into debt for a longer period of time and add $5,000 to the back end of their mortgage.
#9 Help your neighbor, community if you have over produced in the garden or extra eggs, or you shot a deer and you don't like the meat all that well or you got a good deal on something, but realized you purchased to much instead of letting it spoil help a family in need, that way they don't spend cash on supplies and maybe you can help them buy medicine.
#10 Don't buy from countries that take their production out of the USA... They didn't care about their workers enough to keep them working and how do they expect to sell their product, hit them harder and faster then they thought, don't buy from them now. So what if they are cheaper, you buy from them today your company might just move across the border tomorrow to compete with their prices so your job is gone tomorrow. Now how you gonna buy anything including food?

Here is how I would propose this to happen with out hurting those that need it:

Term Limits on Politicians, once the job is finished no continued cudos' is there any other job that you get and the benefits go life time? NO so why should we be paying life time wages to these people. We shouldn't they get enough payment while in office. If they knew how to budget they wouldn't need life time wages. Oh but yeah I digress we are speaking of politicians that don't know the first thing about budget. Accountability! Must be accountable to what they have approved! They must document reasoning behind any passing of a law! New laws to be revocable if found to fail the true intent of the law it is reversed immediately, not have to run it's course of time limit that they put on laws to be re voted and approved by government officials, they must be voted to be approved by the public sector. What a novel idea since the politicians don't listen to their constituents any way.

Food Stamps, and all public assistance, drug test passing required. Food Stamps you cannot buy the most expensive item on the shelf, no steaks heck the working sector cannot afford steak so why are we paying for them through food stamps? Generic brand items only!

US Citizenship or Legal Residency Required, if you have never paid into the system you don't get the benefit. They have a tracking device to see if you have paid into the system it is called a social security card. Use it. Look I created a job!

If you receive public assistance you have to work in community services minimum of 20 hours a week. Your social worker needs to sign off on your service card weekly, monthly or bi weekly. You punch in and punch out at community service to keep the assistance. Look I created a job!

You have to be actively looking for a job. To verify this the application must have a community contact # to call to request the interview with the recipient, if you don't show up or you show up like you don't want to work then guess what assistance is dropped. Another job created!

If you have a job the assistance will be reduced but at the minimum keep you at the level of assistance of the public assistance so that no one goes with out food, shelter or medical care. Based on NET INCOME not Gross because we all know that Net income is what we really have to live on. But in order to get this you have to be an active productive citizen unless you are with in the SSI range where you have been deemed that you cannot work due to health, or you are of retirement range.

If the farmers have to much ground to farm then maybe they need to sell off some of it to make ends meet, I agree don't make since to pay them not to produce product. I don't care if they have the property, but I don't agree that you should be paid to not produce crops, if you don't produce crops then you don't get a check for that. Americans of all sectors should be encouraged to be productive, reward for production not lack of and that is the entire problem there is to many free loaders living off the back of the working folks.

All these items make since to me, but I am sure there is some sap sucker out there that would think this is infringing on recipients rights, but what about our rights! We are being suckered big time by loosers.

How many times do I or anyone else have to post the same things, reduce government, cut taxes specially on buisnesses, stop government waste and excess spending, relegislate Nafta, get rid of lobbyist, clean up the corruption and so on. If you want to know how many times and how many things I have posted , go read my posts.

The first issue should be putting people back to work, that will only be accomplished by stimulating buisnesses is this country. That will be done by relieving their overhead, not adding regulation, example: cap and trade. By granting them tax breaks to create jobs and future growth, not stifling them with mandates, regulations and more taxes and allowing unions or the government to dictate how they manage their buisness.

I could go on and on but I have said all of this and much more before, many, many , many times.
