I'm not from Indiana and I have ran in most of the states east of the Mississippi but I can't imagine who could handle a hunt like the World. I think the Hoosiers have done a great job for many years and I appreciate it much. Thanks a lot guys for a good job.
I am sure there is a reason guys drive fron ky, il, oh, mi and many other states.
Just to run here during the spring, winter, summer, and fall.
And there is some that drive from Canada to the world. why make them Drive farther down.

I dont want to see it moved. Who has better running grounds?? Who has better running grounds that has a place better or closer to the running grounds than Threshermans Park?

I would say the rental of Porta Johns, and The Park itself aint cheap. Gas money for guides. They payed the Judges better than usual this year also. The 2 checks to NKC would total around $2750 Judges were payed for judging 147 casts for over $7000 . This number is not including the numerous $50 dollar drawings for the judges, but there were many.

Id like to see more prizes to the winners and people who place, but the expenses are real.
from what ive read about the hunt being moved on this post,iv never been there but i agree with the several on hear that says you would be hard pressed to find a club who has enough grounds to house so many people and to have enough hunting grounds and not to mention sounds like they really take care of their judges! im a judge and have been payed as little as $10 to judge, that makes alot of people not want to judge. it should be that at even club hunts the pay should be as much or more than the dog entrys, paying so little is part of the reasons some judges wont get out out of the road to judge,as any good judge will tell you its very stressing to keep up with the dogs, listen to what the handlers THINK happened and to get in there and do your best to get each cast a rabbit.never been down there was planning on it but things came up out of my control but sounds like this an awsome club that no dought worked and planned all year for such a big event. o ya congrats to all that won and placed! i heard that their was the best pack of dogs there that eyes had seen, wish i woulda gotten to exsperiance this but theres always next year, i hope! also if its anything like going to new club hunts thier probly was alot of fellowship and new friends made witch to me is the best part of our sport!
