Running has been pretty good.We have had some good rains here in the past week.If it just rained a couple more times before the trial ,conditions should be great.Temps have been cool, just dont know what they are calling for next week.I know 1 thing,it should be better than last years fall trial,it was real dry then.

Good luck! Yeah, I remember; it sure was dry last year. I'd say your trial will be a success if you can keep that Arlie guy in line.

Hello Everyone. I have never been to a beagle field trial and want to come and see what it is like. Is there a requirement to qualify with my dogs ahead of time? They are AKC and I just a, not sure all the do's and don't of a trial? I don't think we can use shock collars, even for the safety of making sure they stay on the property, correct? I have always run them with collars, but the girls listen real good. My male is probably a little young yet, just a little over a year and a half. If someone has a rule book or something I can see ahead of time, that would be a big help. I am sure they would be in the 15 inch class, but definitely not over 15 inches. Thanks for any help anyone can provide.

Casey

Deadline is 7. The weather should be good with lows of 50 and highs of mid 60's. Casey, to run your dogs, you need to bring the akc registration with you. No shock collars.

Is there any hotels or motels close or within 15-20 mins of the club house?

Marion has a Super 8, Fairfield, Travel Lodge, Holiday Inn, Country Inn Suites, and another I can't remember the name of...they are all right at the 23/95 exit. There are some nice places to eat and shopping within walking distance to all the hotels....I recommend Steve Dakotas or Conways

Kenton has a few hotels as well but I dont know the names of them...less selection of food there

Upper Sandusky has a few hotels right off of 23/30 and there are a few decent places to eat there as well....the Steer Barn, MJ Mugsy's, and Shotzies are excellent

All of these towns are less than 30min away from the clubhouse.....
