Beagles hunting to far ahead

Hi guys, i am having trouble with my beagles hunting to far ahead of me and hunting to fast. What is the best way i can break them from this? Thanks

Shock collar, and keep em close. They'll learn. The longer you let them go out ahead, the tougher it will be to break them of it. I like my dogs to hunt close.

Just shock em and call em back they get the hint ive got two males that used to just take off they hunt right there with me now and i dont even put a leash on them anymore and they are good!!
