Re: Kennel Start
Make sure you use a good quality sealer on your block or the urine will soak into it. Had a buddy learn the hard way, the block basically fell apart after a short time. Rebuilt it and painted it using a good basement floor paint and hasnt had a problem.
Re: Kennel Start
Thanks i was thinking of epoxy floor paint on it. Do you think that would work
Re: Kennel Start
yeah just fine, it would probably hold up and wouldnt peel if you use bleach or other cleaners also!
Re: Kennel Start
Still chipping away at it! Got the roof on and the floor epoxied. Building the doors tonight on the dog box platforms this weekend. Ready to be done with this one.http://i1250.photobucket.com/albums/hh5 ... 36.jpg[img][/img]http://i1250.photobucket.com/albums/hh5 ... ets003.jpg
Re: Kennel Start
What brand epoxy did you go with? How did it go on. Looks like it should hold up well??
I'm not sure of I wanna stain my concrete or epoxy.

Re: Kennel Start
I used QuikCrete brand from lowes. I used it on my garage floor and it was super easy to clean. Put some dogs on it two days ago and all it have to do is spray off. So far so good!
Re: Kennel Start
You have pretty much built the kennel I'm saving my pennies to build myself. I really like the look of the block kennels & keeps males from rusting your fencing. You got any finished pics?
