"Its not turning around more illegals enter the country everyday,"

I just saw on the News that a Syrian Refugee was just picked up for wanting to aid ISIS and bomb this country. I'll bet that the refugee was throughly vetted before he was allowed into the country, just like our President was vetted.

I agree 100% why is that most people can't buy a bed set in this country or tv without five year payment plan .

Rabbit, you assume too much.
I do not "play loose with money", there are still basic dynamics to the market. Some of the wisest advice I received I'll freely pass on to you, "stick with what you know" when investing. Time horizon, risk/reward dictate percentages,... study.knowledge and open mindedness to change and trends adjust investment. Like you, most people freeze up when trends change and new innovation or change of resources starts to replace the existing status-qua, they ride the old horse into the ditch.
I'll agree, you should stick with your cd's or the bed mattress, nothing wrong with holding cash but we need something at work to offset that inflation that eats up your worth or you become more worthless.
If we can get rid of the unions and all the imported dead weight, those good paying jobs will return and all those benefits will be heaped upon us again. Layoffs usually mean supply/demand is out of balance or innovation has found a faster horse.
I work in energy and it has certainly been turned on it's ear. Coal stocks and oil stocks were good forever, but not now. I've seen the conversion going on all around me, the new laws and limitations on emissions. Cost or restrictions cause water to change course and take the path of least resistance, you go with the flow or sit in the puddle that's left to evaporate and disappear(emotion).
Since you bet on yourself, I venture a guess your not sitting around waiting for the sun to come out, or the next rain to start. Your making a move to increase your value to the company or training for a new department or job,...correct?

Wrong again Patch, I don't have time to sit around waiting on the government to fix or finish ruining the country. I said I bet on me so I haven't bet on the market or the government. Your the smart one you figure it out. While you keep dissecting the market I'll keep sitting myself up for retirement. The stock market is a rigged game

Since it's become crystal clear we don't understand each other there's no need to carry on a one-sided disagreement. I'll just wish you the best with your retirement planning and hope it is forward of the market trend in the future...

Howdy PM,
Yes, I got into ford and GE, sold out of F and kept GE, turbines for air and gas generation I think will support them. After we talked I also got into nat gas pipeline and storage, dividend/drip has me buying more all the time for now. I'm averaging about 6 1/2 % so far, better than the bank. I like buying cheap on the down market and the dividend reinvestment buys and build stock shares and increasing income flow to buy more. When I retire, I'll just divert the dividends from reinvesting, to my check account to live on.
I'm staying 50/50 cash/stocks so I can sleep well at night...lol... looking a AA right now, they been hit hard on metal but have contracts ahead, unless you think they're going broke, a great chance for a double easy enough.jmho
Money is made off of market emotion, if you believe the world is coming to an end, don't worry we're all gone, but if you believe America is about the spirit to overcome and the king and his minions still like to collect from the fruits of others labor, a force will build to lift all ships again in the future. I'm betting on America!

Good Lord you're stupid Rufus. You are scum. A modern day Saul Alinsky. Stuck on the nipple and doing everything you can to stay on it. A waste of tax payer money.
