Bob,I appoligize!!!!I miss read your post.I thought you were saying no dogs in arha could get it done.Once again I am very sorry.Wasnt really mad but did get fired up a little

I am with you 1000 percent on the dogs should have to be certified.Give me a call and we will get togather and run.I also am very picky on what i like.Also I agre that there is not many dogs winning that get it done the right way{or at least the way I like to see it done},but on that note the last few trials I went to I seen more of a trend going back to more of a clean running style dog.I hope it keeps going that way!!!

Tboy..thanks for getting it

and the jury is still out on Scooters pup,she has not started yet but from what I saw of her sire and brother and knowing how her dam ran I have very high hopes for her.How is old Shooter doing,I actually kinda miss his big mouth and would love to see him tear up the brush again.

there are some things i like about akc and some that i don't.i hunt in arha lp and really like the format.i've met alot of nice people and alot that's not so nice.i like to judge alot because i get to see alot of dogs and see for myself how they run.i personally like a dog with alot of speed and i like for one to swing out hard and fast in the check area.when they come to a check i want them to swing out wide first then come back if they can't find it,but i want a dog that can lock onto the rabbit and drive it when it gets it!!!good thing there's different strokes for different folks.there are to many dogs out there that are winning or have made champion that couldn't circle a rabbit by there self.i gun hunt the same dogs that i trial and i wouln't keep a dog if it wasn't a good gun dog!!!!!i currently have three champions that can get it done in the trials and under the gun.they are not perfect but no dog is.good luck to everyone in the trials this year can't wait to see alot of old friends and hoefully make some new ones.freak of nature keep them running the way i know you can!!!!!
