Nope, human babies need breast milk and puppies need bitch milk. When I was a baby, after I was weaned off the teat, I ate mashed up table food that was similar to the food eaten by my older brothers and sister and the adults until I grew enough teeth to mash my own food. I grew to a healthy 6'3 and 215 lbs. There were eight kids and none of us visited a Dr. until were out of High School except when a mule bit my older brother and my youngest sister broke her arm.
We are out of common sense in our society. We are at the mercy of advertisers and psychologists.

Wolve puppies don't get fed a food with more calories than their parents get. They drink bitches milk and get to nibble on the leftovers. I'll see if I can find the article about NOT feeding puppies commercially prepared "puppy" foods....
