ROFLMAO,sounds like state gov. at its finest.The Hare story IMO is nothing but an expensive conversation piece.Sure they used to be in Ashtabula county but so did Hemlock, which now is something yuppies plant in thier yard and mulch.We used to also have buffalo,elk and old-timers used to scare me with black panther stories.The most reports for bobcat sightings come from Ashtabula too so lets dump a couple hundred hare in their backyard.

To answer the question of running them.Your officially not permitted. ;) I have run dogs in the release zone and never run one yet but a couple buddies have, just not as regular as you might think.Maybe 2-3 a year that they can prove.
