There were two lines at the pearly gates. One line had a sign over it that said, "Henpecked Husbands." It was miles and miles long. The other had a sign over it that said, "Nonhenpecked Husbands." There was one man standing in it. All the henpecked husbands began to discuss among themselves why he was standing there alone. Overhearing one of the conversations, the loner decided to offer an explanation. He said, "the reason I'm in this line is because my wife TOLD me I'd better get in this line!"

More seriously, I am commanded by God to love my wife as Jesus loves His church, and He died for that cause. In return, my wife respects my decisions as the head of the household. IF marriage was 50/50, then each partner would only be contributing 50% each to the most important institution on this Earth. Each partner must put in 100% each for a family to function. The man must take on a selfless role, set by the Lord's example. Sometimes this is interpreted by some as being henpecked, so others vow to never be this way. Having known my wife for 2 decades, I have seen her give birth to my two children, care for my preemie daughter tirelessly, help birth puppies, field dress deer, fillet fish, feed and give meds to hounds, remodel a house, and anything else that needs doing. That makes me a very, very lucky man. End of sermon.

yeah yeah yeah,,,,,,,my girlfrien feeds and water dogs,,,,,scoops crap spreads lime and works the hounds but when it comes to me doing or buying what i want or bring whatever in the house she just dont say nothing because she knows it wont do no good,,,,,,
