No problem Chris, and you're right, I do have feelings and I do feel it is in poor taste to use my forum to pimp another publication. Why not use that publication's forum? Oops, wait...they don't have one.

This thread wouldn't have lasted 5 minutes on BB or ARHA boards, but I'm lenient that way I guess and yet TAB continues to grow... *shrugs*

Well...I too thought this thread was in kind of poor taste because of it's location (here on the TAB board). Bev's got thicker skin than I would've if this was my board....ZAP!

I'm truly sorry if you took my post as " pimping" another magazine. I have no ties to it, or any other magazine.I just took for granted that most if not all, that expressed interest in the new magazine probably already got yours,and just wanted some more reading material on the little dog we love so much. When i made the post with the address to the other magazine, i can honestly say i wasn't thinking about this as" Bevs board "but just a beagling information board,where we share information on the sport we're in. again sorry if you took it the wrong way,it sure wasn't meant that way.

No problems, Lee. That's why the thread is still here. My motto when I started this magazine 3 years ago, and everyone was telling me there's no room for another beagle magazine was, "you can never get too much reading about beagles and rabbit hunting." I stand by that. I have to reign in my own pride from time to time.

("pimping" was a rather harsh word, wasn't it? lmao)

Just goes to show how much of a stand up person Bev is to allow this board to be used for as many purposes as it sometimes is, As far as Comparing Mags There aint no comparison as far as i am concerned TABs got it hands down!!!!

Again perceptions are different, If Bev were a selfish, insecure type, she may well have felt threatened by word of another magazine. Her actions of letting this post stand and free advertisement shows her character and good will towards others. A role-model indeed for everyone and I'm sure she'll be rewarded in the end

Bev, Iam very sorry I offended you about the magazine. I subscribe to every magazine about Hunting and Trialing Beagles. I was a little anxious to see the new Magazine to see its contents. I in know way meant to hurt you or your Magazine. Again Iam sorry
