Fleas hatch every 21 days if you don't get something with a growth regulator in it they will just keep breeding and hatching there is a chemical call archer that will stop them from breeding and hatching but I mix it with dragnet and it will kill them don't know if you can get it on amazon but there is a chemical called perethim that's good also that u can get off of there just not sure about the archer hope this helps

If you want rid of the fleas and ticks for good go to lowes and buy a bottle of Bayer insect killer. Not the tree and shrub! Its in a blue bottle for around 15 bucks. Get you a big syringe ,pour some in a cup to pull it into syringe easier and put about 4 or 5 syringes full down their back and rub it in good. Do it once a week until no more fleas then about every 3 weeks afterwards to keep them off. You can also mix it in a sprayer to spray the grounds and houses with. I had them so bad before using it I couldn't even walk in the yard without fleas jumping all over my legs. Ive used it 2 years now and I bet you cant find a flea one on my dogs. When I run them and ticks get on them within 2 days they will be hanging on them dead. Now all my friends use it and they've had nothing but good results also! I know its not for dogs but it works wonders for me!

There is insecticide… Then there is insecticide that contains an IGR (Insect Growth Regulator), which is the only way to get rid of pupae. Killing them is easy, stopping the “come back” is a job. For every 1 adult flea seen on your Beagle, the environment around your Beagle has 50 eggs and 45 larvae and pupae… Eggs hatch in less than a week, and these larvae will feed on flea dirt and debris. Larvae spin a cocoon before entering the pupae stage, where they wait. Insecticides that advertise a “small dose” of IGR doesn’t get it either. Whatever product you use, make sure it contains a high % of IGR.

The trick with fleas is hardly no one thing kills all stages of fleas. Other thing is they get resistant to certain treatments. So look for things with different active ingredients and use them often even if u don't see many fleas after initial treatment. Some chemicals will kill larva and some the fleas so follow the directions. Over and out any treatment will help deter fleas, but if u r already infested I suggest goin to tractor supply company and getting a product called 'wisdom'. It contains bineferin. treat pens and kennels liberally with it (following manufacturers recommended application rate). Remove dogs, spray, then put them back in an hour or so later. The wisdom is a residual pesticide that will continue to work for a few weeks, unless u have real heavy rain. Helps to spray dogs with a permethrin spray also available at TSC. Adams Or Hartz flea and tick from Walmart works good too, once a week I think is what the directions say. Good luck, they were terrible last year here so I feel ur pain...

last resort, use diesel spray it on everything and coat the ground really well. i've even heard of guys wiping alittle on there dogs. i like prolate/lintox i use it as a dip and you can also spray it on everything and the ground. if you've never used it before it should work. its good to change up yearly so they can't get imune

IMO, easiest and simplest way is with Creolin. It kills fleas and the eggs. Use it as a dip, pour some in till it turns a milky color and dip your hounds and then spray remaining or use water can and pour it around kennels. The fly's will be no more also, but make sure you wear rubber gloves up to your elbows. Use it year after year and never and I mean never have a hound with fleas.

I have been using the generic fripronil with good success but I just noticed some fleas on one of hounds after having them kenneled while we were on vacation.

I actually take the fripronil and dump some in a spray bottle and cover their kennels with it...and I rub flea and tick shampoo into the bottom of their sleeping areas and let it dry..
God isn't real, Beer is good and people are crazy, there I fixed it.
