"From time to time I look at these old post and can't resist putting my 2 cents in. I don't care that it's an old topic." :P

My Buddy dog (RIP) was a very powerful hound. His Sire: Branko’s Magnum Prince. His Dam: Rising Sun’s Blue Babe.

William (Buddy’s Breeder) was just a hunter that bought himself some quality hounds. Although he’s never trialed himself, he enjoyed reading the beagle magazine articles.
One day he decided to buy a pair of well bred hounds… AKC x ARHA, he decided to experiment with two lines that have done well within their respective format.

He paid good money to Branko, and had Prince (CKC/AKC) delivered to his door. He then picked up Babe (ARHA/AKC) from Paul Webb.

I look at the numbers alright! Prince might have been every bit the hound and producer that his brother (FC Branko’s Cougar Magnum) is. His owner had no desire to showcase his dogs in the trial circuit, so I guess we will never know. Think about all of the Gunners out there that are sporting Branko’s breeding.

To all of the strictly hunters out there that bought a Branko... You just might have Branko's best kept secret right in your back yard!!!
