Been gone for a while, I think the last time I posted the Beagles Unlimited board was still up.
I own a 3yr old beagle female who was in heat last month and I hoped to have her breed by my uncles dog. Well we put them together but they never appeared to get hooked up. Well now she is starting to look pregnant(have an appointment with the vet thurs).
My concern is that she is kenneled outside and that I stray may have done this. Her kennel floor is 24inches off the ground with 6ft high walls(cyclone fence).
With this setup could this have happened? Or is it more likely that the event happened with the stud and i just missed it? Any advise here would be apprecciated. Should I let her have the litter and if they look to be just beagle puppies great and if not cull them quickly?
