How do they run up in the UP just curios if i cam up for a weekend if i would be any compotion. and hows the little females run also. I heard males run balls to the walls. and are they in pens exc.

Danny, at times they run a little rougher than I'd perfer. I'm a member of the NMHA and some of the dogs are getting a bit wild for me.. I've been attending some spo trials and in that format you can get some good running and hopefully stir clear of some of these wild ones... I really like the SPO on hare... If you ever want to hook up and attend a few of these together give me a call. (906) 932-9050. I do plan on attending a few SPO on Rabbit down in Southern Michigan.

Where are the trials your going to be attending? and when are they? do you know how little females run i heard big males was alittle crazy. is that how little females are? Im trying to get a few dogs ready to run alittle akc.

Danny, we have already started our trial season here in the NMHA and some of the first trials are LPH trials. these ones are the ones I will be attending for sure- Bay De Noc Feb. 18-19th Hyde Mi near Escanaba Mi, Northland April 8-9th Iron Mountain Mi.

The SPO- Rabbit I've planned on attending are Huron Valley April 13-15th I believe these are the dates. Brooklyn Mi. North Eastern Wisconsin April 20-23rd Anston near Green Bay, Snow Shoe Ridge April 27-30th this trial is on Hare and about 5 miles from my house. in Hurley Wi.

If you are planning on running some young dogs I'd suggest to run them in the SPO trials. even the 13" females can get a bit rough in the LPH trials.
