You notice when they pull up the trucks lights are very needed and you still can't see the guy until they are right on him and he says he shot it about two minutes ago. He probably caught the deer on a silhouette to do that so you shoot one in the dark and you get what is coming. I hate it for the guy and there is not a deer walking I would pay that much for but you have to watch when you're on someone else's land.
Hate to rain on the parade but don't feel bad for the guy...it was a joke. It was all over the archery forums a year or so ago....I don't remember the whole story but the person in the video (shooter) was a guy who works for the ranch or a very rich guy and that did in fact pay the $$ to shoot that deer. They thought it would be fun to do a spoof video and post it around.
