Fantasy Field Trial

Post by MasonsBeagles »

Kind of the same as previous post. If you went to watch five dogs compete against each other who would it be and why. Who would come out on top

Consider like a fantasy football team.

Cool question. I assume you mean past or present?? I have no idea if they would match up well, probably not, but it would be fun to see. I would love to see a pack with Dingus Macrae, Gay Baker, Jack of all Trades, Pon Run A Train, and JR's TJ. I would expect that even though the speeds wouldn't match up well, they could put a serious hurting on a rabbit.

IFC Able's East Coast Trimmer, FC Dingus MacRae, FTC Branko's Close Call Girl, FC Jack's Iron Mike and FC Luci-Van Little Man.

Can we have more than one pack? There's too many to only choose 5!!! ;)

Sure

Sure. It would be a field trial. SO here we go. But you gotta pick a winner. Watch it because the eagle eyes of this board will be ready to disagree.

My Pick

Post by MasonsBeagles »

Realized I didnt put my pick in. I havent been around the trials very long but here goes.

Northway Spur, Indian Hills Majer, New City Cruiser, Taylors Sock It TO ME and Brankos Jack of All Trades.

Unfortunatley I never saw any of these dogs run, so someone else will have to tell me what the result could have been.

Luci Van Little Man, S & S Poison Pete, Robs Diamond II, Del Ray Stubby and Shorts Banker Boogie. Those speeds should match up pretty good.

1)Northway Spur 2) Northway Driver 3)Mt.Zion Pete 4)Branko's Jack of all Trades 5)Branko's Ali-Baba.

I would be considered the winner, just getting the pleasure of watching them get after it on a rabbit.

Swing, just go out to the kennel and throw one of your dogs in the brush. That line up looks like the pedigree on your hounds, lol! ;)

Good choices though, I'd like to have seen Jiggs run, too! And Poison Pete, and Warfield Red. And Chris Miller's Grandpa's Patch hound.

I say we throw 5 of them "walkie talkie" dogs out there and see which one gets to the finish line first. Oops, I mean, which one takes the longest. lol

Ultimate 5 pack

Post by J.C. Blair »

My five would probably be:
FTC Branko's Jack of all Trades
FTC Branko's Copperboy
FC Dingus Macrae
FC Northway Spur
FC Northway Jumpmaster

Now this would be a pack to watch, I would like to see them on hare and cottontail, to see how they would have done. Just my 2 cents.

Hounds Have been cast

Post by MasonsBeagles »

Ok the hounds have been cast and it looks like the Dream Team.

Right Know the old favorites are doing good.

Jack of All Trades has the lead
Northway spur is right on his heels

Dingus Macrae, Taylors Sock It To Me, Brankos Ali Babba, Turbo Powered by Prop, Mark V's Ace in the Hole Coming on Strong.

The others are showing well with plenty of time. Even Old Mt. Zion Pete probably the Granddaddy of them all has shown up. Well looks like it will be a good hunt. Would really like to see it.
