I have a question my dogs coats are lacking shine and luster and I was wondering if there was something I could add to the feed to help that. When we showed cattle we would add bean oil to their feed. I thought I could spritz it over the dog food with a spray bottle. Tractor Supply (our local farm store) has rice bran oil (Equine Supplement; Rice Bran Oil Type; With Crude Fat (Min) 100%, Total Fatty Acids (Min) 90%, Unsaponifiable Matter (Max) 4.5%, Insoluble impurities (Max) 1%, Free Fatty Acids (Max) 0.05%, Moisture (Max) 0.05%; 2 - 8 fl oz (Daily) Dosage Limit) I thought about using it but wanted some advice first
Thanks

Re: Dull coat
A little bacon grease over their food makes a big difference.

yup bacon grease Will do the trick..So will a raw Egg now and again...
We use Fish Oil you can get it at most grocery stores in capsule form, has all the Omega 3 and Omega 6 nutrients that they need and keeps the Skin healthy..a healthy Skin leads to shiny Coat!!!
We use one capsule a day in their feed just break it or Smash it and they will gobble it up. we just drop it in their bowl....
