rabies shots

hello everyone....i was just paid a visit from the animal control... i have 2 females that gave birth sunday&monday
and the county asked for records.. all dogs are good to go....except the female they need rabies shots...

question is::: can these female get the rabbie shot ????they just had there pups this week,will it hurt the pups???
