Professor Joseph Olson of Hamline University School of Law,
St. Paul, Minnesota, points out some interesting facts concerning
last November's Presidential election:


• Number of States won by: Democrats: 19 Republicans: 29
• Square miles of land won by: Democrats: 580,000
Republicans: 2,427,000
• Population of counties won by: Democrats: 127 million
Republicans: 143 million
• Murder rate per 100,000 residents in counties won by:
Democrats: 13.2 Republicans: 2.1


Professor Olson adds: "In aggregate, the map of the territory
Republicans won was mostly the land owned by the taxpaying
citizens of the country.

Democrat territory mostly encompassed those citizens living
in low income tenements and living off various forms of
government welfare...."



Olson believes the United States is now somewhere between
the "complacency and apathy" phase of Professor Tyler's
definition of democracy, with some forty percent of the nation's
population already having reached the "governmental
dependency" phase..



If Congress grants amnesty and citizenship to twenty million
criminal invaders called illegals and they vote, then we can
say goodbye to the USA in fewer than five years.



Apathy is the greatest danger to our freedom.

TC it is almost like we live in 2 countries, the people who work hard and try to achieve and the people who think government or truthfully the people who are working should take care of them. Obama says we have been divisive in the past but I have never as clear of a division in this country as there is now.

The thing Corporate America forgets is the working class can bring AMERICA to its knees if the working class refused to go to work one day look at the out come! AMERICA and corporations depend on us to be at work everyday they are in operation. IF the working class picked a day and said we are not working look at the reaction it would bring on. The only way this would work though is everyone agreed not to go to work on that given day! NOTHING would be in operation it would show them the power of the people.

Lets see when Bush left office the federal deficit was 560 billion and the unemployment rate was 6.5%, now the federal deficit is almost 1.5 trillion and the unemployment rate 9.8%. Pine, this is not true, if the health care scheme goes through all taxes will increase 13.58% just on the healthcare. In fact Pelosi is pushing this bill through under another bill with the finance committee so that our representatives cannot vote on it. It will be pushed through under the finance committee so no one but the upper echelon will vote on it. We will be in bigger trouble then we already are.

Obama has repeatedly stated that he wa going to tax the wealth and no one earning less than $250,000. would have a tax increase.

Nancy Pelosi was on a PBS station the other night. She told the host Charlie Rose, that a Value Added Tax is in our future.
A Value Added Tax is a federal tax that is added to a product at each step of production. It will be a federal sales tax Which means every American from rich to poor will be paying this tax. It hits young couples who are trying to start a household very hard. Which means they will be living with Mom and Dad longer.

You are absolutely correct about this. Not enough of the people will stand up for them selves there is to many that would rather take the back seat and let someone else with convictions fight the fight for them. Then when the tide turns jump on the band wagon. That is the problem no one has convictions anymore. No one will even bother to get off their dead butts and vote or even try and make a difference but will sit around and whine cause the country won't do anything for them in the mean time those that fight the battle get burnt.

The people were too drunk on free credit to see the train coming the last 12 years. It's liken to the Coal Mines, we were given the keys to the Company store and enjoyed the fruit and spoils, now, the bill comes due.
Many now owe their soul to the Company store, A 100 people now wait for your job, It was an amazing thing to see, people paying as much for a car as a house used to cost, people paying for a house what a whole farm would cost. They were all nice things but so unnecessary and overdone.
The team concept at work was a bad idea, separated the workers, no man is a island. Utilities now rape each other on any others misfortune, used to, they worked together to help one another, in the end, the rate payer is the one who pays
To many flooded to wall street for a quick buck, we turn out to many lawyers with the tools, so we can tear each other apart. Laws are made on emotions, not reason and moral, morals, what are morals any more?
