Re: UKC World Verses NKC World

I couldn't agree more with sanfords comments. My one and only only trip to UKC US Nationals , dog won cast 450 plus points, but did not move on to next round. The score has little or nothing to do with the hounds ability, but rather the location the guide puts you in, which is very unfair . With tha...

Re: Pregnant female advice

i would recommend having her x-rayed at about 50 days, so you'll know exactly how many pups she has. It will eliminate any guess work at time of delivery, you will be able to determine if she is having difficulty.

Re: Puppy Bench Question?

You didn't specify which registery or format. In UKC , pups entered on bench must be entered in the field. So avoid UKC , if you don't want to run him yet.

Re: heat stroke??

all good posts,i guess the bottom line is, dogs are like human athletes, some are sprinters, some marathoners. In either case , they must be conditioned to perform in adverse conditions. It is up to the trainer to use common sense. Why endanger the dog?

Re: Any interest in PKC

Does PKC have hunting judges or non-hunting judges? If they are hunting judges who are blind to the faults of their own dogs, ala UKC , don't look for me.
