this swarm came out of one of my bee hives landed in a tree about 75 yards from the house my wifees nerves was shot she hates my bees lol

I have been wanting to get a hive started. Problem is I have too many other expensive hobbies like my 3 year old, dogs, chickens, hunting, trapping, the farm, etc.... I have been looking for used equipment on Craigslist but I havent found what I want yet for the right price. If I could get into the hobby for cheap I would like to try it.

Be careful of that used equipment Gundog...well, the hive boxes, frames, etc. They can carry mites and other parasites. Beekeeping is great though and we need more beekeepers. Honeybees in the US have it stacked against them right now and our crops need all the pollinating help they can get.

i've got 8 for now would like to have about 12 or so lol like he said watch out getting used equipmeant it will cost you more in the long run .i know my garden and all my neibors garden and fruit trees have done better the last 3 yrs after i got my stinging friends lol
