BAD LUCK
it started off tuesday evening when i lost a good hound, never heard him barking, could'nt even shock him, and no one has even seen him since. im almost sure he would'nt run off game, i think a coyote got ahold of him. then this evening when i got home from work i went out to feed the puppies, i had one fall over dead right in front of me. dont know what happen she was playing with the others and she jump up aganist the door and fell over dead. what some luck. she was almost 5 months old and healthy. anyone else know what could of happen?

Re: BAD LUCK
Sorry man, that is some bad luck.....
If I were you I would check real hard in that area for old drainage pipes and wells. Its not unheard of for dogs to fall in them.. but most of the time the shockers will make the dog yelp enough to get a read on the location. Also, it could have hung itself...
Normally, when a coyote attacks a beagle one or the other will make some noise... I'm hopin for ya that it may just show up....
as for the young pup it could be anyhting from choking to death, heart issues, anurism, or lots of other things... Only way to tell is a postmortem..

Re: BAD LUCK
You don't have any poison around the both could have got into ? Seems odd to lose two so close together. Sorry
