I dont no the exact cordinates but if u come off I64 onto I-164 head south to boonville new harmony rd.exit take a right and go about 15 miles u will come to st.joe rd. turn left and go about 5 miles and you will see a sign that says allied waste landfill you can pull in there and get rid of all your trash talk lol

Been there seen it in action and i will admit the dogs jump most of the rabbits but its the way 15 guys will take off running and trying to cut the rabbit off that just cracks me up and its easy to jump another one while running and shoot it and say thats the one they was running.And trust me i have seen quail shot and one ol boy even jumped a deer and started shootin at that.But like i said to each his own i just have faith that my hounds will bring that rabbit back to me but then again i dont kill 200 to 300 rabbits a year so what do i no

Why do we not see any of theese people running here in spring summer or early fall. And then all of a sudden there hear like the plague. you cant go any where with out some a$$ hole dumping on ya. man i wish rabbit kill season was only couple weeks.

Is that the only place in indiana to rabbit hunt or something? here in missouri we have tons and tons of places to rabbit hunt and hardly run into other people but every now and again. if that happens we chat about how the day is going and move on. which is rare to begin with. there is a group of color people we run into alot. but they stay far away from where we hunt. its a good group of hunters in that crowd. they are normally maybe 6 people or so. they do alot more shooting than us and hunt longer than we do. We see them often. Team track em down is a two or three hunter group thats about it. We travel all of missouri. I will drive 3hrs one way to hunt. I will drive anywhere if I know it holds rabbits. I never stop looking for more places to hunt. Always searching for the next honeyhole.

is there any other place to gun-hunt other than the coal mines. I imagine the coal mine is several thousand acers??

on opening day you will see some of the stupid stuff
people on 6ft ladders guys running after dogs
guys turn loose 50 yrds from your truck. And ya there is alot of land but just as many peolpe and if ya dont know where to hunt or go you will be sited for tresspassing. so know where you are going

Thats the thing joey they have plenty of places where these guys live but they dont hunt them cause thats where they run their dogs and get them ready for the trials so they want all the rabbits they can get so they drive down here and kill kill kill.Dont get me wrong i like most of these guys and often meet them for breakfast at dennys but then we go our seperate ways cause i just dont like hunting the way they hunt

I run into a few bow and duck hunters on accident at some places but I apologize and go the other direction but Mo has over 1000 CA areas and you can rabbit hunt on at least 200 of them and everyone knows 50 farmers with land so it stays pretty sparsely populated.

Can't wait for it to cool down to start running again to get my old dogs in shape for rabbit season. OCt. 1st will be here before we know it.

It's amazing that with all the DNR areas in central Indiana & Kentucy that they have to come to sw part of the state to rabbit hunt! Guess that one of the side effects of having the big field trials here.
