Save your back and let him dig all the kennels up for ya about 4 to 6 inches deep ,then get a roll of 50' chain link fence at Menards lowes etc cost less then $50 ,lay it down and cover with gravel ,I use #11 washed with dust .

He's got his dug up that deep in about all of it. I took him with me when I went walking. I got a beagle back I sold to a friend last year, and he quit running dogs so I got her back. I got her in a bigger kennel with my three month old pup. Low and behold I return to see the pup running around in the yard. The gyp dug over to the male's kennel cause she wanted to go and thought she was being left behind. Thankfully I got her on a chain inside the kennel like I do all my grown beagles so she didn't get far.

At least my dogs got the desire to go and the brains to get out. I'm going to have to either concrete me a big pad out or get an off the ground kennel built before part of my yard is dug up lol

I laid weld wire fence on the ground before I put up my chain link panels now they cannot dig. Problem solved.
Thanks,
