Above ground kennels

I used composite deck boards with the last above ground kennels I built. Definitely better than treated deck boards that hold odor and much better on the feet than wire.

I know several claim wire doesn't bother their feet but after all day running on snow and ice I've had several dogs that were visibly irritated walking on the wire. Noticeable to me that the dogs lay on the boards all day but rarely laid on the wire.
