Just got home from paying my last respect to a great guy and houndsman. Had a lot of time to think while traveling. We need to live everyday as it may be our last and be kind to one another! I have read many posts on here lately that have been pretty rough! Please be careful what we say to one another as someday we may not be available to say IM SORRY!

I was truly saddend to hear of Greg's untimely passing. Our paths crossed often at LP field trials in numerous states...Ohio, Michigan, Kentucky, Indiana, and PA (just to mention a few) in our quest to capture that elusive HOF title for our Grand Champion Hounds. He always had a smile on his face and a kind word of encouragement to me as our dogs oftentimes competed against each other at the big hunts. I was thrilled for Greg when he recently won the Grand Nationals putting Buster into the HOF and finally accomplishing a goal he set out to fulfill. All his hard work getting Buster ready for the trials and miles of traveling across the country finally paid off. It was so nice to see a "good" thing happen to a "good houndsman". I wanted to be sure that our paths crossed one last time, so yesterday I drove with a friend to PA to pay my last respects to Greg by saying good-bye my friend and thanks for being the kind of person that made field trialing a friendly competition. Your sportsmanship will be sorely missed!

What a tragedy. Dennis and I met Greg several years ago at the World Hunt and he always takes time to come by and visit with us for a while when our paths cross. What a very nice man and he will greatly be missed by us. Art hang in there my friend, we will be thinking about you.
