Chappy,
I never said they dont have any good running....but not 4 hours of head high pounding where size is the issue. Large pack would have the best argument but they seem to be the most lenient of anybody on measurement. SPO seems to always be consumed with size and a hound rarely has more than 3 hours of ground time broken up in 1st, 2nd series and winners pack combined.
Get rid of your condescending tone and just state your argument. I dont care what dogs you have in your kennel and dont want to watch videos of them. This post isnt about your dogs or my knowledge of beagles.
AKC established the rules and they should followed. There are avenues to take to get rules changed but I dont see this issue gaining much support. The only ones that think size doesnt matter are the guys running 15.5-16" dogs yet year after year they show up with oversize dogs and get mad when you measure them out.

Re: Why have size classes in AKC anymore?
sorry john o i might had been feeling like a smart ass
but yes i think once a dog places in a class it should not be able to run both classes it is either a 13 or over!!! 15 or over!!! this 3 places in the 13 and could not make the stand should say it all its either one or the other j.m.o.
clubs will also let over sized dogs in the hunt and not even look at them because they are over. they have no problem taking a persons money too feed the club.. just something i have also noticed
