I have not posted a video for a long time because I know most of you guys like a lot stronger dog than what we are running but I though maybe this would be one that you might enjoy. It has a lot of the rabbit and dogs and a sight chase so it in pretty entertaining. It was the end of a 2 1/2 run. I really thought they were going to catch the rabbit. I hope you guys will watch and thanks in advance.

Mark, I like your style of dog. Mine run much the same. Mine are out of Don Arnold's Willow Run breeding. I like them to just keep bumping the rabbit along. Always keeping the pressure on, but not so much that the rabbit holes up.

I think those dogs did an excellent job. I also don't think anyone could ask for anything more as they locked onto the tracks and ran them like they were stuck on them like glue. I love watching a good pack of hounds do what they were bred to do regardless of speed as these ran non-stop with very few minor breakdowns. I would feed any one of them as speed doesn't put any more meat on the table than a slower steady dog will. Great video and I thoroughly enjoyed watching it. I'd title it "STUCK LIKE GLUE!"

Thanks Mark for all your video. Very few knows how to put a pack like that to run a rabbit. But I believe there are more an more out there now than 5 years ago do to your video. Thanks again Mark.

Thank you for sharing the videos. Although I have a little different style of dogs, I really enjoyed watching your pack account for the rabbit. Great job!

I sure enjoyed you and your dogs. You could hear them all through the house!
We especially liked the consistency, few loses, and when they ran the rabbit across and down the same road that had run him back the opposite way before, they didn't get confused or thrown off by the doubled up rabbit tracks.
Many Beagles would of stumbled bad at the rabbit doing that and he knew it.
Thanks for sharing!!!!

You are right,I do like a stronger running dog.Be that as it may,I thoroughly enjoyed watching your pack run.
Man do they ever run tight/packed-up,seem to almost never lose the rabbit and the music just rolls out of them.
Pretty good camera work too.

I see yall like them little .410's ! What kinda range can ya knock one down with them ? I kinda like the idea as I dont care to kill every bunny we jump anyhow. Shooting 2 1/2 or 3" ?

If you are not out to kill every rabbit they are a lot of fun especially if your buddies all use them. It gives you both hands free to handle the dogs. We always let the rabbit circle and make sure the rabbit is running before shooting. The pistols seem to kill best at 20 to 30 yards. Anything more than that unless you hit them in the head you probably not going to kill them.
