akc registration ?

I have mostly dealt with ukc and pkc so I have a question about akc registration. Can a dogs name be changed in akc if it has been permanently registered?

yes it can but if the breeder is the one that registered the dog you have to get permission from the breeder to chenge the name

you can change an akc dogs name as long as it has no points in an akc event or has ever been bred.
