Hunting season is here

Our season opens the 1st of October and goes to the 28th of February but i like to wait till 1st frost to start killing them when does everybody else's season open and are you'll as ready as i am good luck to everybody this hunting seson and may God Bless Us All.

First Saturday of November till the first weekend of Feb.

We have a 2 day youth season 10/22-10/23 and the regular season opens Friday 11/4 and runs to 2/28/17. We are closed during the seven-day deer gun season, Nov. 28 - Dec. 4, 2016.

October 1st through march 31st hare only ' we don't hunt the month of November its deer season . we train on sunday during deer season .

I got married on the first day of rabbit season, which is November 1st. My season starts whenever my wife says so. Lol

Our season opened Sept. 15th closes March 31st. Casey I told the woman I live with when we first got together I'd be running dogs when you met me and I'll be running dogs when you leave me, that was 15 years ago and now she only complains if I don't go early or often enough. Hope the same for you

Glad summer is gone here. Finally cooling down some. We dont open until November but heading up next month for the annual Hare trip to Drummond Island, I dont take a gun just go to run but it seems like I look forward to that as the kick off to hunting season.

Here in Tennessee we open Nov. 5 and go until the last day of Feb.
Bummer is that muzzle loader for deer opens the same day and then between muzzle loader and then rifle for deer [Nov.19] we have the deer hunters in the woods until Jan.8 ! Two months of deer season and that's not counting archery that opened Sept.24.
Heading to northern Vermont next week for a week of hare hunting out of a buddies' camp up on the Canadian border and then the next week over in New Hampshire renting a cabin with a good friend and his son also along the border.Can't wait to hear the beagles pounding some long running hare.

Andrew. Because of my knee surgery I will not be on the Island until the week of the 17th. I talked to John (the bugman) in mid July right before his knee replacement and I have not talked to him since so I'm not sure if you will see him this year.
